The QR Pass is the QR code a merchant shows at checkout. Scanning it opens the Scan & Pay payment page, where the shopper confirms the payment.

Merchants show it on the Smart POS terminal, in the Mobile POS app (Android phone or tablet), at online checkout through the WooCommerce plugin, or in their own software through the API and the Node.js and PHP SDKs. They manage their business, devices and payments in the Business Portal.

Shoppers pay with through the Scan & Pay app (on the web and on their phone): they link a bank account once through a PayTo agreement approved in their own banking app, then confirm each payment in the app. PayTo and PayID run on Australia's New Payments Platform (NPP).
